Effective date: 2 August 2026
Bento Shop (the "Game") is a mobile game published under the Quadsphere Campus label by
Rekiaro Entertainment Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"), the company responsible for the Game and the
data controller for the purposes of this policy. This policy explains what information is
involved when you play it.
The short version: we do not ask for your name, your email, or any account, and we do not
collect anything about you ourselves. The Game shows ads to stay free, and our advertising
partner collects some device data in order to do that. You choose whether those ads may be
personalised, and you can change your mind at any time.
None. The Game has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers of our own. Your progress,
settings, unlocked items and language choice are saved only in the Game's own storage on
your device. We never receive them, and they are deleted when you uninstall the Game.
The Game does not use analytics or crash-reporting services, contains no in-app purchases,
and does not read your contacts, photos, files, precise location, microphone or camera.
The Game shows ads supplied by Unity Ads, a service of Unity Technologies. To select ads,
measure whether they were seen, and detect ad fraud, Unity may collect:
- your device's advertising identifier
- your IP address, and an approximate location derived from it (country or region level)
- device information such as model, operating system version and language
- information about the ads themselves — which were shown, viewed, skipped or tapped
Unity collects and holds this information as an independent controller, under its own
privacy policy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
We do not receive, see, or store any of it. We only receive aggregate, non-personal totals
of how many ads were shown.
The first time you launch the Game, it asks whether ads may be personalised using your
device's advertising identifier:
- Yes — Unity may use your advertising identifier to choose ads it thinks are relevant to you.
- No thanks — you see contextual ads instead, chosen without your advertising identifier.
Either way the Game plays exactly the same, and either way ads still appear. Your answer is
stored on your device and applied to every ad request, including the very first one after
launch. Because it is a lasting privacy decision rather than game progress, it is deliberately
kept even if you reset your progress in Settings.
You can change your mind at any time in either of these ways:
- Turn off ad personalisation for all apps on your device, in Settings, under Google, then
Ads, using "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads personalisation". Unity honours this
system setting and will serve only contextual ads.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Game. This clears the stored answer, and the Game asks again
on the next launch. It also erases your saved progress.
You can also email us at the address below and we will help.
- Personalised ads: your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, given through the popup
described above. You may withdraw it at any time as described above.
- Contextual ads, ad measurement and fraud prevention: our legitimate interests under
Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in funding a free game and keeping ad delivery secure and non-fraudulent.
Because the data is collected by Unity, Unity may transfer and process it outside your
country, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in its privacy policy.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict
the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to receive a copy of it.
Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to look up, correct or delete. All
of the data described in this policy is held by Unity, so the fastest route is Unity's own
privacy request process, linked from https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
If you would rather not deal with Unity directly, email us and we will pass your request on.
We do not sell personal information for money. Showing personalised ads based on your
advertising identifier may count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context
behavioural advertising under California law. Choosing "No thanks" in the Game's popup, or
turning off ad personalisation in your device settings, opts you out of that sharing. We do
not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data
from them. Where a player is identified as a child under applicable law, or where the Game is
distributed to a child audience, only non-personalised ads are served. If you believe a child
has provided personal data through the Game, please contact us and we will help get it removed.
We retain nothing, because we collect nothing. Data held by Unity is retained according to
the periods set out in Unity's privacy policy, linked above.
If we add anything that changes how data is handled — for example leaderboards or achievements
through Google Play Games Services or Apple Game Center, in-app purchases, or analytics — we
will update this policy and the effective date at the top before the change goes live.
