Lent begins in the wlderness—a rugged landscape that we rarely enter by choice, yet it is the very ground where our faith is most deeply formed. Using the Gospel of John as our map, we journey through terrains of noise, grief, fear, and surrender. We do not rush to fix the brokenness we find; instead, we inhabit it, trusting the art of Kintsugi—the mending of pottery with gold—to show us how God mends our brokeness, making us stronger and more beautiful for our scars.
Join us this Lent as we journey together through the wilderness!

Do not try to save
the whole world
or do anything grandiose.
Instead, create
a clearing
in the dense forest
of your life
and wait there
patiently,
until the song
that is your life
falls into your own cupped hands
and you recognize and greet it.
Only then will you know
how to give yourself to this world
so worthy of rescue.
