Why did you start this group?

I love connecting with other professionals and organizations working in Reproductive Mental Health, but I found myself wishing for a more direct line of communication to colleagues and really wanted to reduce the time I spend on social media......it's taken awhile, but I'm hopefully this can grow and expand the community that already exists out there and offer an alternative to social media based networking and referral requests.

Doesn't this contradict the offerings from other Reproductive Mental Health organizations?

I truly believe in abundance over scarcity; my intention is not to take away from Perinatal Support of Washington, Perinatal Support International, Parent Trust, or any of the other fantastic communities and groups that exist already. I just found an urge for more connections even with being a member of many great groups and communities. My hope is that this will ADD to what already exists and not TAKE AWAY from what is available. 

And we'll adapt over time to hopefully meet the needs of the community as well!

Can I join if I'm an associate? What about Interns or Students?

At this time, the group will be limited to licensed clinicians, both associates and fully licensed - LMHC/LMHCA, LICSW/LSWAIC, LMFT/LMFTA, etc. While we know that students and interns may be increasingly working with this population or be passionate about this population, we're not able to accomodate interns or students at this time.
