These stuperstars represented Regis at the Coe College Elementary and Junior Honor Bands! They got to work with world-renowned composer Carol Brittin Chambers and put on a fantastic concert at Coe College.

IBA All-Iowa 8th Grade honor band
A huge congratulations to Ciera Wing and Danika Klima who were selected for the All-Iowa State Honor Band, and Marcus Towell who was selected as an alternate!
Just 22 students from northeast Iowa are selected to this prestigious group. Students were selected through an audition process where they performed a difficult etude they worked hard to prepare. Ciera and Danika will travel to Des Moines in May to participate. Congratulations to these three and all of the students who grew as musicians preparing for this challenging audition!
All-Iowa Honor Jazz Band
A huge congratulations to Roman Kilburg, trumpet, on being accepted into the All-Iowa Honor Jazz Band! Roman was one of just 20 students selected from over 100 applicants from across the state to be selected to this prestigious group. He will rehearse and perform with this group on Saturday at Coe College. Marcus Towell was selected as an alternate on guitar. Congratulations Roman and Marcus!
NEIBA Honor Band
Congratulations to the following 8th grade band students who were selected to participate in the North East Iowa Bandmasters Association (NEIBA) Honor Band this Saturday in Oelwein: Roman Kilburg, trumpet; Danika Klima, clarinet; Caleb Lang, trombone; Luke Morio, alto saxophone; Lance Mueggenberg, trumpet; Chris Putman, bari saxophone; Marcus Towell, baritone; and Ciera Wing, clarinet. This competitive honor band will allow these students to collaborate with the best band students from every school in our northeast district.

IBA State honor band
Congratulations to Elizabeth Whittaker-Smith and Maya Nguyen on their selection to the IBA State Honor Band! Elizabeth and Maya prepared difficult etudes for their audition and were selected as just two of 22 students from Northeastern Iowa to perform in this prestigious group! They will peform in Des Moines at the IBA Band Directors' Conference in May. Bravo Elizabeth and Maya!
