Read Research Repeat
Woodland Media Center Mission Statement
The goal of the Woodland Media Center is to provide students with the opportunity to become lifelong users and creators of information. We will accomplish this goal by offering students instruction in information literacy and research techniques, encouraging reading for information and reading for pleasure, arranging for equitable access to information, and providing a collaborative space for learning.
I was thrilled to join the other Region 16 Library Media Specialists and attend the CASL (Connecticut Association of School Librarians) Conference in Southbury on Monday, October 21, 2024. This day of learning and networking included 2 keynote presentations as well as 4 concurrent breakout sessions covering a wide variety of info-literacy and technology topics.
