ECE Advanced Game Programming

Also KNown As

Honors Computer Science

*** Update - Computer Science Honors and ECE Advanced Game Programming are converging into a single course, facilitated by my new role as a UCONN adjunct affiliate member. This merged class offers the opportunity to earn college credit. Both courses maintain an honors-level standard. I hope this message clarifies any potential confusion.

As the ECE option wasn't confirmed last semester, I didn't have the chance to discuss this opportunity with you. Consequently, you may notice recommendations for both Computer Science Honors and ECE Advanced Game Programming. However, you only need to register for one of them.

Let me know if you have any questions.

In Honors Computer Science/ECE Advanced Game Programming, students will learn how to code 3D games and potentially develop for virtual reality in collaborative production teams. Email Mr. Vlahos if you have taken Programming for Game design or Animation and would like to take this class or learn more about it.

If you have taken Honors CS and want to know what a college level programming class feels like then I urge you to try AP Computer Science Principles. Email Mr. Vlahos for more information about placement and recommendation.
