Regional Research Fund
Regional Research Fund
Up to 1 Million Funding Support
Aims to encourage early-career researchers to be actively involved in health research activities without competing with experienced researchers. Under the RRF initiative, early-career researchers can then gain experience that will improve their competency in designing, implementing, and managing health research projects. Once the early-career researcher has been able to establish a good track record, he/she will then be encouraged to apply for the larger scale research project/program grant initiatives also available in DOST-PCHRD, DOST, Department of Health (DOH), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and other national and international funding agencies.
RESEARCH PRIORITIES
The Regional Health Research and Development Consortium XI (RHRDC XI) is now accepting Health Research and Development proposals for CY 2026 funding support. This is made possible through funding support from the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD). The proposal must be based on the priority areas indicated in the 2023-2028 National Unified Health Research Agenda (NUHRA) and top Region XI health research priorities.
