Band students participate in one small group lesson and one band rehearsal each week. Students also have the opportunity to perform in school concerts and march through the streets of Deep River in the Memorial Day Parade.

To participate in band, students need a working instrument and a method book for lessons. Instruments may be rented, purchased or in some rare cases, borrowed from the school.
