My name is Augusta Ferretti, I teach math at VRHS. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this amazing community, to teach and support the kids and families of Region 4.

Math is a fundamental subject, without it, our societies wouldn't possess the technology we rely on today. Math isn't only numbers and operations, it's problem solving, logical reasoning, information organization, data analysis, and so much more.

I believe learning is a lifelong adventure. I believe students and families are the most important stakeholders in education and I strive for a classroom that incorporates and respects the ideas, values, desires, and needs of every student.

I love teaching math, I love exposing students to the beauty of mathematic connection. I know many parents, family members, and community members use mathematic skills and concepts daily in their work lives; I would love to invite those people to my classroom to engage students in conversations, tasks, or projects to better their understanding of what and where math is used.
