Stephen has officiated women's lacrosse in Eastern North Carolina since 2015 and has seen the sport grow across the area. Stephen has had the opportunity to work numerous NCHSAA playoff games, including the 2023 NCHSAA 1/2/3A Eastern Final. Stephen wants to make sure all officials are given an opportunity. Stephen also has experience officiating at the small college and college club levels.

In addition to officiating women's lacrosse, Stephen also officiates high school and college football and has previously officiated high school basketball, soccer, baseball, and softball.

Stephen lives in Trent Woods (New Bern) with his wife, Maureen, and 2 sons, Boland and Merritt. Stephen is the owner of Coastal Concierge Service.
