2024 marks the beginning of my 7th year with Reeths-Puffer, my 2nd year in 5th grade, and my 16th year of teaching overall (13 years as a 6th grade teacher).  I'm so grateful that I get to do what I love every single day, and I can't wait to share my passion teaching you/your kiddo!

Speaking of kiddos, when I'm not at school, I'm with my own two children and my husband. Our daughter, Karsyn, is a sophomore at Mona Shores High School.  She just finished her first season as a life guard at Michigan's adventure. Our son Michael (AKA Trey) is in 7th grade this year at Shore's Middle.  He plays football, wrestles, and golfs.   My husband is an Air Force veteran who now serves as a teacher and the head coach for Holton Football (Go Red Devils!)  Rounding out our family are our naughty but snuggly dog (Bronko), and our crazy cats (Kane, Onyx, Ibuki, Purrcy, and Gemini).  We also have a class pet, Pokey-hontas, the bearded dragon.

In my free time, I love to be active! I recently resigned from coaching cheer here at RP in order to pursue my Master's Degree and be more available for our family, but I'm still a huge supporter of the program and am an MSHAA competitive cheer judge.  I am an avid gym-goer, and an all-around busy body.   As a family, we love to ride roller coasters, canoe, play board games, golf, and swim at the beach.  As a mom, I adore watching my kids play sports and participate in clubs, and I also enjoy photography as well as baking and decorating sweet treats for their events.
