***Please note that many of the following expectations are to ensure the safety of students and staff. Our day will feel a lot different, but we will work together to create a caring and healthy learning environment for all!
Students must provide their own supplies this year (supply list provided).
Sharing of items will not be allowed.
Please only bring essential items.
Please only bring essential items (lockers will be used, but students will only be allowed to go to them at certain times).
Masks must be worn unless told otherwise.
We will have a snack/mask break during the day.
Please be sure that reusable masks are washed before use.
Face shields may only be used in addition to a face mask.
Students must use hand sanitizer before entering the room.
Students must regularly wash hands
All students must remain in their assigned seats and social distance (don't worry, we will have many brain breaks).
Water bottles are allowed with a closed cap.
Students that are not feeling well must communicate this to an adult immediately.
Students must be responsible and take care of their assigned Chromebook.
Chromebooks are for academic use only unless told otherwise.
There will be consequences for any technology violation(s).
Visitors will not be allowed in the building at this time.
***Remember that asynchronous (independent) learning is new to all of us. I am here to help! A positive mindset will help you to use this new style of learning to grow as a learner!
Stay organized.
Use the resources in our virtual classroom.
Use our digital weekly planner to keep track of assignments.
Staying organized will keep you from feeling overwhelmed or stressed.
Limit distractions.
Find a place where you are comfortable and can focus.
Get up and move.
Build breaks into your day (I suggest at least 2).
Use our "break room" to get up and stretch, dance, or just move around!
Pace yourself.
Work at your own pace and use those breaks that are built into your schedule.
Eat up!
Eat breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks throughout the day.
Ask questions (as many as you need).
