Coach Millington

2024 will be Coach Millington’s 12th season coaching at Ridgeview HS and has been here since the school was opened in 2012. In that time he has coached the Linebackers, Defensive Line and the Defensive Backs as well as serving as Defensive Coordinator. Previous to Ridgeview, he coached at Redmond High School for Three years as the JV Head Coach and the Defensive Line coach at the varsity level. This season Coach Mill will lead the Ravens as the Head Freshman Coach. Millington’s first year at Ridgeview he joined the track team and coached throws before moving to the Girls Golf program where he has remained for the past 7 years. Redmond Youth Football was also a passion for Millington while his sons were participating. 

Millington received his Masters degree from Plymouth State University and received his Bachelor of Science from Montana State University. Montana State was also an opportunity for Millington to play Defensive Line for the Montana State Bobcats from 1990 to 1994. He graduated from Medicine Hat High School were Millington was a standout football and basketball player. He was a part of the Southern Alberta All Star game his final two basketball seasons. He was also a member of the very first North South Alberta All Star Football game where he still holds a field goal record. Coach Millington is supported every Friday night by his wife Kaycee Millington. The couple has two daughters Jorydn (29), Brady (26), and two boys Eli (21) and Adam (17).
