A little bit about me...

One of my favorite things to do is teach MATH!   Although this is my second year to teach at Red Lick Middle School, I have many years of teaching experience (18 years public high school math and 13 years homeschooling all subjects).  When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, baking, scrapbooking, and attending church activities.  

I truly enjoy teaching because it is what I feel I have been called to do in life.  My goal as a teacher is to inspire each child in my classroom and help his/her “light bulb” turn on and brighten every day!  I believe that students should have fun while learning, so I use a lot of hands-on lessons.  I also know that when I’m bored they must be bored as well, so I fill our time in Math with many activities.  I like to have a good time with my students.  As a teacher, I believe it’s vital to have a good sense of humor, but I do expect my students to show respect, pay attention, behave during class, and follow the class procedures.
