A little bit about me
My name is Katren Rankin and I wanted to share a little about myself. This is my 15th year to be a teacher, my first 6 years I taught a self-contained special education class, then for the last 7 years, and currently, I am an inclusion teacher in grades k-4. I have my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies which I am a certified Teacher for General Education k-4 and Special Education k-12, a Masters Degree in Science for Curriculum and Instruction, and I have a Diagnostician Certification.

I am married to my amazing husband, Andrew, who is the 5th and 6th grade Science teacher at Red Lick Middle School. We have 2 boys, ages 11 and 9. We are a part of an amazing church and we are blessed to spend a lot of our time there. If we aren't at church, we are either having family time, or we are on a soccer field somewhere. Both of our boys play soccer and love every minute of it! We are BIG fans of FC Dallas and we love to go to their soccer games! We have 2 dogs, Belle and Rocky, and 2 cats, Michael and Dwight.
