How You Can Support Your Student at Home:

• Ask Questions: At the end of the day, ask your student: "What are you learning about in science right now?"

• Notice Everyday Science: Point out and discuss real-world examples — like checking the daily weather front map (TEKS 8.11B), feeling inertia while braking in a car (TEKS 8.7B), or observing the current phase of the moon (TEKS 8.9B).

• Check their Science Folder: Ask to glance at their Science folder to help them review key terms and ideas.
