Crafton Learning Academy for Student Success (C.L.A.S.S.)

What is the C.L.A.S.S. Program?

• Established in 2018 The Redlands Adult School and Crafton Hills College EOPS Department partner each summer to provide a summer bridge program for local adult school graduates who plan to begin community college in the fall. 

• Six-week program designed to support adult school students transitioning to college

• Open exclusively to adult school students from Redlands and Yucaipa Adult Schools

• Students enroll in COUN-100, a transferable, credit-bearing course (3 units)

• Earn elective credits toward your high school diploma

• Program concludes with a celebration honoring your achievements and new academic goals

If you want to go to college but aren't sure you can do it — this program is for you. It creates a safe, supportive environment that gives you the confidence and tools to succeed as a college student.

• Grow academically and personally

• Experience college firsthand through university field trips

• Receive program supplies and daily meals

• Connect with campus resources and peers who share your goals

Results

• Many of the students who have gone through the program gained the confidence to continue their studies.

  • Latifat, Class of 2019 earned an associates degree and transfered to University of Riverside for her Bachelor’s degree

  • Norma, Class of 2019, earned an Associates and Bachelor’s Degree and is currently working toward her Master’s at CSUSB

  • James, Class of 2024, is graduating this year with his associates in sociology and transfering to CSUSB to get a Bacherlors.
