Ms. Elias: Teacher-Librarian
Hi! I'm Ms. Elias, your RHS Librarian!
I'm a teacher-librarian because I love to see people excited about learning something. That "something" doesn't have to be success from writing a research paper or getting 100% on a test. Knowledge takes all shapes and forms, and can happen anywhere (not just in the library!).
I like reading and writing (no, seriously!), listening to music, watching films, exploring nature, visiting Disneyland, and cooking.
In the library from 8:15 AM - 3:45 PM.
I have three BA degrees: English, Journalism, and Communications (writing and speaking emphasis)
(+ Teaching Credential)
I also have a Masters of Library & Information Science and my Teacher Librarian Services Credential from San José State University.
Fun fact: I'm a member of MENSA.
Previously taught Journalism and English for seven years in Palm Springs USD, and was the afternoon Librarian at RHS for three years, before working as the librarian at Moore Middle School for one school year (24-25).
Favorite books: Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury and the Redwall series by Brian Jacques
