Thanks to everyone who joined us for our 2nd Annual Winter Spirits Fundraiser! Your support matters!
We always need helpers!
Attend a meeting or check the above form to find out which projects could use hands.
And the more funds we have, the more we can provide donations to what our community is calling for.
Any amount is appreciated!
Giving time is great, giving money is great, but giving goods is also a big help. If you have event materials or space, transport, or own a local business and want to pitch in, please contact us!
PTSA membership is a low-cost way to show support for our school community and take part in shared decision-making.
A portion of each membership fee is required by National and State PTA, so only a small amount stays with our local PTSA. While membership dues are not a major source of funding for local programs, they are essential for maintaining our PTSA’s charter, advocacy role, and ability to operate.
Membership is open to parents, caregivers, teachers, staff, and community members. You do not need to volunteer time or attend meetings to be a member — joining is simply a way to stay connected and help sustain the organization.
Members are eligible to vote on PTSA business and leadership decisions. Non-members are always welcome to attend meetings and participate in discussions, but voting is limited to current members, as required by PTA bylaws.
Membership helps ensure that our family voices remain represented at the local, state, and national levels.
Our middle and high school PTSA meetings are typically held on the third Wednesday of each month (occasional variations happen so please check the district calendar) from 6:30-7:30pm in the LAMS Library. New for 2025-26 we are offering child care as well.
Each meeting is a forum to discuss shared goals and solutions where at least one of the two principals is present to answer questions, helping foster dialogue and building relationships with parents and families. Meetings are open to students, family members, and all school employees. Please come learn more about our schools and their offerings, while meeting more members of our community. We really want you with us, and to hear your thoughts, concerns, and ideas. It's been a great place for us to help people make connections!
Participation in committees at any level is volunteer. Formally joining a committee isn't necessary to participate in the committee. Current committees include: Audit, Fundraising, Membership, and Inclusive Education. We are working to create a Student Advocacy committee in the future.
