Now that you've confirmed your license is hung with Redfin, it's time to join the board and MLS. If you are already a member, you will need to update your company to reflect Redfin. 

Before you will be able to join the board/MLS you will be required to have your physical real estate license. A copy or copy of the receipt for your license will not suffice. The state will mail your license to the broker who will mail it to you (if you live close enough to the office, you can also arrange to pick it up). Once you have that, you will need to take your license into the board/MLS in order to start the membership process. You can have your paperwork ready prior to this, but will have to wait for the physical license to submit everything.

You will need to pay fees to join the local, state and national boards. You are not able to just join at a local level.
