Listening

Each week we will expand our musical knowledge by listening to a new piece of music. 

We will discuss the following elements:

• the time period of the composition

• the composer

• style of music

• instrumentation

• tempo and tonality

*Upper school students will take a listening quiz twice a quarter after reviewing the listening examples.
