Music Room

sing • play • dance • createlisten

At Redeemer Classical Academy, music is an integral part of each student's education and development. Students attend music class twice a week where they experience music in each of these ways:

Singing - Students sing the hymn of the month at each class and sing during other musical activities.

Playing - Using a variety of instruments, students practice rhythm, pitch, and coordination skills.

Dancing - Through games, folk dances, and other movement activities, students experience music kinesthetically.

Creating - Students are often guided through the process of creating their own rhythms and melodies.

Listening - Each week students are exposed to a new piece of music, helping them to appreciate many styles of music and understand their place in history.
