Calculus is a three trimester course. Students desiring to enroll must have a prerequisite of Pre-Calculus and must be recommended by their previous Mathematics teacher.
The objective of Calculus is that students learn the three main branches of calculus--limits, derivatives, and integrals. All three branches will be taught from multiple approaches. There is an attempt to balance deeper understanding, basic skills, and the appropriate use of technology.
Khan Academy is a great site to visit to review concepts, practice for tests, and prepare for upcoming lessons.
