A Maker Space is a hands-on learning environment where students design, build, code, and explore using a combination of creative materials and technology. Students engage in problem-solving through the use of robotics, coding platforms, engineering materials, and traditional craft supplies. Beginning with simple programmable robots in the early grades and progressing to advanced robotics and coding systems in upper grades, students develop computational thinking alongside creativity.
Through guided projects and open-ended challenges, students learn to think critically, collaborate effectively, and bring their ideas to life. Robotics and coding are used at each grade level to reinforce STEM concepts, encourage logical thinking, and help students understand how technology interacts with the world around them. The Maker Space provides an engaging way for students to see themselves as capable creators, engineers, and problem solvers.
