When our clients faced the challenge of a failed stairway, they thought beyond just replacement. Opting for durable concrete over traditional wood, they set the stage for a remarkable outdoor makeover.

The client also wanted to extend their rock retaining wall and level their raised yard, so we embraced the opportunity to create a seamless blend of functionality and aesthetics.

As we delved deeper into the project, we discovered water damage lurking beneath the surface of their gravel driveway. We tackled the issue head-on with precision and expertise, then resurfaced the driveway to perfection.

When our client envisioned turning their secluded (and very remote) property into a haven for family gatherings and travel trailer adventures, they knew they needed a team that would go the extra mile – quite literally!

We tackled the challenge of dense vegetation and stubborn stumps head-on, clearing the path for new possibilities. With heavy lifting TLC, we embarked on a mission to revitalize every corner of the property. The driveway, once plagued by wear and tear, emerged smooth, graded, and ready to welcome every traveller. Widening the entry and replacing a failed culvert were just a few of the meticulous touches that went into finishing this project.

During this project, we embraced the challenge of extending the client's driveway by 200 feet, giving them better access to their property. Our client's drainage system needed a major upgrade, requiring access to their storm connection. We carefully excavated to provide the space needed to tie in the service lines. Backfilling and packing the area in strategic lifts, we ensured stability and durability for years to come.

With the drainage system integrated, we turned our attention to prepping and forming the driveway for concrete. With meticulous attention to detail, we laid the groundwork for a surface that would not only enhance curb appeal but will also withstand the test of time.

There’s not much we don’t haul. From soil delivery to yard waste removal, stumps to scrap metal, and even agricultural waste like manure, there's no challenge too daunting for our versatile fleet. But what sets us apart isn't just what we haul – it's how we do it.

Enter our single-axle dump truck, the unsung hero of efficiency and precision. With the capacity to carry 8 tonnes of material, this powerhouse outperforms traditional tip trailers, offering unmatched versatility and maneuverability. While larger trucks struggle to navigate tight spots, our nimble dump truck effortlessly reaches every corner of your property, ensuring no task is too remote or challenging.

When our client needed a new retaining system for the backyard and wanted to expand their driveway, we were thrilled to take on the challenge.

Phase One: Backyard Retreat

The vision was clear: a backyard that harmonized function with style, where modern design met practicality. Our first task involved levelling the backyard and replacing the existing wire fencing with a new system with a contemporary design that would offer better wildlife control.

Post anchors, strategically sunk into poured concrete, ensure stability and longevity, while a refined chamfered finish adds a touch of elegance to the completed wall.

Phase Two: Driveway Expansion

Turning our attention to the front of the property, we expanded the driveway to enhance both accessibility and curb appeal. We removed the existing front garden that bordered the driveway, then excavated organics and topsoil in preparation for a proper road base. With substrate in place to support the new concrete driveway, we meticulously formed and packed the surface. This project was finished with a nice blue-chip apron and looks very sharp from the street.

At Red Dog Earthworks we thrive on the opportunity to turn challenging landscapes into stunning outdoor havens. During this project, we partnered with a client to transform their sloped yard into a functional and beautiful space that the whole family can enjoy.

The project began with levelling the corner of the yard, creating a more usable space for kids to play and paving the way for a future fire pit area. To achieve this, we installed a rock retaining wall. This not only raised the lower yard, making the existing patio and grass area more accessible but also added visual interest to the landscape.

With the foundation set, we turned our attention to the top portion of the yard. Here, our goal was to improve access and usability. We began by cutting down the top portion of the yard, installing another rock retaining system, and building a beautiful stairway. This not only provided better access to the top yard but also added an element of elegance to the landscape.

No project is complete without the finishing touches. We ensured that our client's vision could be fully realized by setting their fence posts, paving the way for the continuation of their fence project.
