We built egg drop contraptions within the parameters of 20 straws and 1 meter of tape. Then we added parachutes. What a difference! The final challenge was to build an egg drop contraption using any materials with the parameters of not exceeding 12 inches in length on any side and no parachutes. We learned a lot about material choices and dispersing the force away from the egg. Here are the before and after photos of our final challenge:
