We strive to develop a learning community by providing an inviting, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment that serves to empower students to learn technology and 21st century skills incorporating collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and citizenship.

Meet the Librarian, Mrs. Melanie Fauvelle

I joined Heritage Elementary after teaching Spanish for 22 years. My love of reading and inspiring young readers led me to the world of libraries. I love Historical Fiction and Graphic Novels. My favorite book is "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte.

What is Mrs. Fauvelle reading?

It's the story of a robot named Roz and her struggle to survive on a remote, wild island. As it turns out, Roz doesn't just survive, she adapts, and learns to communicate with the wildlife, and then she develops animal friends and even a family. Roz makes the island her home.
