Classroom teacher submits a repair ticket with the serial number or the Chromebook name.
Classroom teacher prints out the work order and attaches it to the Chromebook.
Delivers the Chromebook to the library.
Librarian issues a loaner device.
Note: District covers all repair costs
There are 2 options for submitting tickets, depnding on what works for your school.
The student brings Chromebook to library.
Librarian submits a repair ticket with the serial number or the Chromebook name.
Librarian prints out the ticket and attaches it to the Chromebook.

Homeroom teacher submits a ticket.
Homeroom teacher prints out ticket.
Homeroom teacher sends printed ticket with the broken Chromebook to the library to obtain a loaner.

Librarian checks to see if the student has paid the insurance.
Students who paid insurance:
1st incident/non-intentional damage: no fees, insurances covers repair.
2nd incident/intentional damage:
Students are charged $50. Fees need to be collected and updated in eSchool before repairs can be made.
Students who DID NOT pay insurance:
Issue a loaner Chromebook to the student.
The work order will be placed on hold until the student pays the insurance fee.
DO NOT reassign a new device to the student.
Under Device
Select “Options”
Select “Edit Asset”
Asset Status to “IN-REPAIR / MAINTENANCE”
All Chromebookr repair tickets must be entered 'on behalf' of the student. This is important step!
If a key has been popped, but the key is still working, this is considered ‘cosmetic’ and will not be repaired.
Please DO NOT enter a work order for this issue unless the guardian would like to have the entire keyboard replaced.
If the guardian would like to replace the entire keyboard, enter a work order and the parent/guardian will be charged a $25 fee.
