Hi! My name is Kelsie Buss. I am a first grade teacher at Red Bud Elementary School. This is my tenth year of teaching and my second year teaching first grade at RBES! Prior to first grade, I taught three years of STEM at RBES and five years of third grade in a different school district. I love being a part of the RBES family. I am looking forward to a great school year full of learning and fun! 

I earned my bachelor's degree in 2013 from SIUC in elementary education with middle school endorsements in math and ELA. I completed my master's degree in 2019 from SIUE in instructional technology with an emphasis in educational technology.

I live in Waterloo with my husband, Chad, and our two children, Hudsen and Addelyn. We also have a spoiled Boxer named Zaiya. I love to read, run, workout, be outside, and spend time with my family.
