Wellbeing is less about us feeling happy but instead combines our physical self, our financial security, enjoying what it is we do each day, the quality and stability of our relationships as well as contributing to our community. Wellbeing will look different for each and every one of us. There are many factors that can influence wellbeing, such as:
- Having close friendship groups
- Enjoyable and fulfilling career opportunities
- Having enough money
- Getting enough sleep
- Positive outlook on life
- Maintaining a nutritional diet.
A lack of these factors, can heavily impact our mental health and wellbeing. Experiences such as the way we are treated by others, our financial situation, relationship breakdowns, changes to our work, all affect our mental health and it is important that we know where we can seek support. Below are a list of services that you can access and details how to get in touch if things are starting to get too much for you.
Don’t forget, you can also speak to the designated safeguarding officers here at Rebus Training- Kirstie Grace, Jon Grocock and Rob Glover.
Even though 1 in 4 people have mental health problems, most of us don’t get the help we need. This has to change. We’re Mind. We’re here to fight for mental health. For support, for respect, for you.
