Counseling Department Mission Statement

As the school counselor at Reardan High School, I am committed to providing your child with a safe and supportive environment in which they can become a responsible, productive citizen and lifelong learner. Through collaboration with administrators, teachers, parents, students, and the community I will assess student needs, evaluate academic and social progress, and cultivate future career goals for every student. I adhere to state and national counseling guidelines as outlined by the Washington School Counseling Association and the American School Counselor Association. Vision Statement As a professional school counselor, I am dedicated to empowering every student to achieve academic success, personal and social growth, and career exploration in order to become responsible and productive citizens.

 

Mr. Ballance Bio

I am in my 24th year of school counseling, my 21st at Reardan. I have two children, Tyler and Brielle, and my wife, Kylee. I am here to help students succeed in academic, social/emotional, and career endeavors. I look forward to serving the students and parents here at Reardan-Edwall School District for the 2024-2025 school year.
