PROJECT: MY PLATE HAS SUPERPOWERS
During the project, students learned about how food is produced and how our food choices can impact our bodies and the planet. They created a book to show their learning and to educate people about the benefits of a balanced plant-based diet. This project will connect with subject learning in English, Science, Maths and Art.

D2R: My Plate has Superpowers
By creating a picture book, L1 can raise awareness about food choices for climate action using mixed media.
L1 learnt about food groups, where food comes from, how our choices impact the planet. We used reading, speaking and listening combined with art and writing to create this picture book. We know you will enjoy it!
PROJECT: FOOD AND CLIMATE ACTION
During the project, students researched an area of sustainability which they do not know about rather than choosing things they already know. They created something to communicate their findings with the intention to discover and share to inspire climate action.
This project will connect subject learning in Geography, Science, Art and English.

D2R: Living Supermarket
By creating a living supermarket, L2 aimed to explore and highlight how the choices we make in regard to food affect our environment through deforestation and pollution caused by transportation.
This piece was intended for performance, so a lot of the structure cannot be seen in this format. However, we hope you enjoy our recordings and look forward to performing something for you in the near future.
L2 learnt to refine designs for marketing, develop research skills, explore physical theatre techniques, and support this learning through fundamental literacy and maths skills.
D2R: Science Posters
By creating science posters, L3 can expand perspectives on climate action through visually engaging and well-researched content.
L3 learnt to research articles, collect information and data, create infographics, write using scientific language, curation and web design for their project.
