Hello Journey Families! My name is Mau Uiagalelei (you can call me “Mr. Mau”) and I am the new School Counselor. I am really excited to meet all of you and be a part of the Journey family! I have worked in education for 8 years and this will be my 3rd year as a school counselor. My favorite part of counseling is planting seeds, fostering a growth mindset, and helping students see more in themselves. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 kids. I also enjoy playing basketball and cooking for family and friends (I love to cook! … and eat). I am looking forward to a great school year! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
