Each year, Student Councils throughout the state of New Jersey raise money for a State Charity that is chosen by the NJASC State Officers.
2022-2023 State Charity- Imagine: A CENTER FOR COPING WITH LOSS
Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss, is a grief support center for children, young adults and families dealing with the death or life-altering illness of a parent, sibling or child. We provide free peer grief support year-round for as long as is needed.
The RMS Viking Pura Vida bracelets are sold for $6 each during all lunch periods.
A variety of deliciously scented pencils and pens are sold for $1 each during all lunch periods.
Students and staff donate $1 to to wear a hat during the school day.
Homemade baked goods and drinks are sold during Parent-Teacher Conferences in the Fall and Spring.
Each year StuCo members are invited to volunteer at America's Grow-A-Row. Students have a hands-on experience at the farm where they learn about planting, picking, rescuing, and delivering free fresh produce to communities in need.
Nonperishable food is collected throughout the school year, and donated to local food pantries.
Members of the RMS Community are encouraged to sign up for the RMSspirit2023 Remind Classroom to receive text messages about upcoming events, fundraisers, and spirit days hosted by the RMS Student Council!
