Mrs. Hodge
Health and Physical Education Teacher
(908) 534-2113 ext. 3403
I have been proud to teach Health and Physical Education in the Readington Township School District since 2011. I earned my undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education from Montclair State University, a Master's in Education and School Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri, and a Master’s in Physical Education with a concentration in Adventure Education from Plymouth State University.
My goal as a teacher is to help students grow into healthy, confident, and well rounded individuals. Through movement and active learning, I strive to develop the whole child; physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Whether we’re in the gym or the classroom, I encourage students to stay engaged, think critically, and work together.
Physical education and health provide powerful opportunities to teach not just fitness and skills, but also teamwork, communication, and self-awareness. I want every student to discover the joy of movement, understand the importance of wellness, and build lifelong habits that support a healthy, balanced life.
