WELCOME!

I'm so excited to be joining the Whitehouse School community! This will be my 5th year teaching 3rd grade, and I can’t wait to get started. I’ve previously taught in both Ohio and Colorado, two years in each state, and I’m thrilled to now be back in my home state of New Jersey.

This summer, my husband and I made the move back to NJ, and we’re so happy to be closer to family and familiar places. At home, we share our space with our two sweet dogs, Otto and Sophie, and our curious cat, Charlie.

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time outdoors, exploring National Parks, and getting creative with crafting projects. 

I believe that every child is a natural explorer, filled with curiosity and the potential to grow. In my classroom, learning is an adventure where students are encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and discover new ideas. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where each student feels empowered to explore their interests, build confidence, and develop both academically and personally.

By fostering a growth mindset and nurturing a love of learning, I aim to guide my students on a journey where they not only gain knowledge but also learn to persevere, collaborate, and believe in their ability to succeed. Together, we explore, discover, and grow—every single day.
