RMS Go Green! is managed by the RMS EcoAmbassadors.
RMS Go Green! is managed by the RMS student EcoAmbassador Team. The EcoAmbassadors are a student-driven group that empowers kids to take positive action in their local and global communities through innovative, sustain-ABLE projects designed to make our planet a healthier happier place. EcoA team work is rooted in the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development . We hope to empower everyone to take action to help meet the Global Goals by the 2030 target date.
We thank our partners, Sustainable Jersey for Schools and NJEA, for helping to fund our efforts to reduce waste and food insecurity, from water-saving solar-powered rain-barrel irrigation to growing fresh, healthy food year-round in our aeroponic garden.
Specials thanks to the BASF Corporation for their expertise and funding support for our investigation into the Future of Food.
We also acknowledge the NJ Audubon Society, the NJ School Board Association iSTEAM Team, Raritan Headwaters, and the US Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools for inspiring our school community!
Make sure to check out the other pages on our website to find out what RMS students and staff alike are doing to make our school more sustainable. Stay tuned for more tips on how we can all become more sustainable, locally and globally.
Together, we can overcome challenges and make our world more sustain-ABLE!
