Reading Community City Schools is dedicated to helping every student grow academically, socially, and emotionally, ensuring they are prepared for the next steps in their journey. With a focus on individualized support, the district empowers students to confidently pursue their "what's next," whether that’s higher education, entering the workforce, or following their passions.
The purpose of students choosing a pathway is to provide them with a sense of direction and focus as they explore their interests and potential career options. Pathways help students develop skills and gain experiences aligned with their passions, whether they’re interested in healthcare, business, STEM, or other fields. However, selecting a pathway is not a commitment to a specific career or life plan—it’s simply a starting point. Students are encouraged to explore, discover new opportunities, and adjust their paths as they grow and learn more about their strengths and goals. Flexibility is key, and students can always change their pathway if they find another area that better suits their interests and aspirations.
