Get to Know Mrs. Healey!
Caitlin Healey is a performing arts educator, director, and performer. After graduating from Wagner College with a BA in Theatre Performance & Speech, she was an Entertainment Cast Member at Walt Disney World Resort (2013-2016), directed and choreographed educational and community theatre, and performed with the American Repertory Theater and community theaters in the North Shore area. Caitlin was the founding theatre teacher at KIPP Academy Lynn Middle School from 2017-2024, where she produced, directed, and choreographed the annual school musicals. On top of being Killam Elementary's music teacher, she is currently the theatre education coordinator at Five Star Theatre Program, a dance instructor at Enchanted Dance Academy, a performer in a music duo with her brother "Cait + Pat," and teaches private vocal and acting lessons.
Directing credits include tick... tick... BOOM! with Colonial Chorus Players (DASH Award: Director of a Musical 2023, Nomination: Choreographer of a Musical), Shrek, jr., Moana, jr., High School Musical, jr., Aladdin: Dual-Language Edition, and The Lion King, jr. with KIPP Academy Lynn. Previous roles include: Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (DASH Nomination: Lead Actress in a Musical 2022); Molly in The Smell of the Kill (DASH Award: Ensemble Performance 2019); Lily St. Regis in Annie; Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof, and her favorite, Peter Pan in Peter Pan during the 2008 RMHS production directed by Mr. William Endslow and musically directed by Ms. Kristin Killian.
Mrs. Healey grew up in Reading and is excited to be teaching in her home district! She currently lives in Lynn with her husband (also a Reading native) and their fur babies, Archie, Oliver, and Puck.
