A speech and language evaluation includes formal and informal testing, caregiver interview, and direct interaction with the client. A written evaluation report is provided within 2-3 weeks detailing results from the assessments, goals, recommendations, and a suggested treatment plan.

If your child has a recent speech and language evaluation (within one year), I will review it and use our first therapy session to complete some informal probing on current level of skills. If this is the first time your child has been evaluated or it has been over one year since their last evaluation, I will conduct a thorough evaluation to determine your child's needs and develop a targeted treatment plan.

Speech and language therapy is delivered based on goals from an evaluation to address current communication needs. Collaboration between the caregiver, Speech-Language Pathologist, and other professionals is encouraged. (Both in-person and Telehealth services are available).
