Remote Learning Environment

Expectations

Students

During remote learning,students will “come to class” ready to learn:

1. A quiet space for learning

2. Have finished breakfast

3. Dressed for school

4. Have all learning materials ready

5. Have all assignments complete and turned in.

Parents

Parents will be familiar with student learning activities for the day/week

1. Realize that attendance and grades count

2. Check for assignments and due dates in Google Classroom

3. Check Infinite Campus weekly for grades and communicate with students regarding their progress and how they are feeling about their learning

4. Check Remind app for additional communication

Curricular and Instructional Resources

During remote instruction, teachers will follow their instructional plans to the greatest extent possible. Teachers will continue using the same curricular resources as in-person instruction.

6-12 Learning Management System: Google Classroom

• All aspects of instruction will be delivered through Google Classroom including lessons and student and teacher feedback.

Instruction

Teachers and students will engage in synchronous instruction during remote instruction

Feedback and Grading

Grading and attendance requirements will remain in place during remote learning. Teachers will take attendance at the beginning of each period.
