Pupils sent in their thanks to Captain Tom which were shared at Assembly on Friday. Some made banners or birthday cards while some made videos, created amazing art or baked a cake. What a team effort!
Primary 3/2 have been developing their thinking and designing skills. Look at the success they've had. Do you think you could build a tall tower that doesn't topple over?

Pupils have been motivated by outdoor challenges. It's a great time to start gardening or build a bird feeder. Designing and flying a kite you have made yourself can be a lot of fun!
Why don't you try some of these at home?
Primary 2 pupils were inspired by the David Hockney daffodil painting. We love their art work and photos.

Tuesday 31st March
Children have been taking advantage of the good weather and heading outside to do their learning.
Children from Auchenlodment have started putting rainbows up in their window. They wanted to put up messages of hope around the community so people can see them when they go for a walk.
Pupils have been finding different places to set up a classroom in their own home. What do you think of these work stations? What does yours look like?
Pupils from Auchenlodment are getting up to join Joe Wicks at 9am. Parents and family members have been joining in as well. Infact some parents reported that they were a bit sore the next day - who knew kid's PE could be so hard! Other families have been enjoying a bit of yoga or trying out their dance moves.
SEESAW Family is regularly used in Auchenlodment for families to view their child's work from home. Before we closed we also linked all of the pupils to SEESAW Class. Pupils should use SEESAW class to upload work from home and send it to their teacher. Perfect for learning from home.
If you can't get onto SEESAW your parents can email Ms Newlove on gw07newlovedenise@glow.sch.uk
The school building might be closed but classes are now open online. We are using two platforms; Google Classrooms and SEESAW.
Your child needs a code to enter their class. You'll find it in your child's Learning Pack. Please contact us if you need them reissued. This is new for all of us so asking questions and asking for help is normal.
Schools close as Scotland moves into LOCKDOWN. As of Monday children will be joining our online classes or begin learning at home with their learning packs.
