Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

Rect Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) establishes the following terms regarding the conditions of use of the “Puffy Clock” application (hereinafter referred to as the “App”), which we provide, and the handling of user information. Please review these terms before using the App.

Article 1 (About the App)

The App is a clock application that displays the current time based on the time information set on the user’s device. The App provides features including full-screen time display, portrait and landscape orientations, and functionality designed to keep the screen on while the App is in use.

Article 2 (Fees and Purchases)

Purchases of the App and payments for any paid services offered within the App are processed through the payment methods provided by the applicable platform. Purchases, payments, refunds, and other related procedures are subject to the terms and conditions established by the applicable platform.

We do not directly collect credit card numbers or other payment information through the App.

Article 3 (Time Display)

The App displays the current time based on the time information set on the user’s device.

We do not guarantee the complete accuracy or continuous availability of the displayed time, or its suitability for any particular purpose. Please do not use the App for operations requiring precise time management, safety management, or other critical purposes.

Article 4 (Extended Screen Display)

The App includes functionality that allows the device screen to remain on while the App is in use.

Keeping the screen on for extended periods or using the App while charging may increase battery consumption, cause the device to generate heat, affect the display, or otherwise place additional load on the device. Please use the App at your own discretion while taking into consideration the condition of your device and the surrounding environment.

Depending on device settings, operating system specifications, power-saving features, and other aspects of the user’s environment, continuous screen-on operation may not always be available.

Article 5 (Device Management)

Please take appropriate care when managing your device and choosing where to place it, including when using the App as a desk clock, as part of your interior decor, or as a display in photos or videos.

Except where loss or damage is caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, we are not responsible for loss, theft, dropping, damage, or other loss or damage involving the device while the App is in use.

Article 6 (Operating Environment)

The display or operation of the App may vary depending on the device model, operating system version, device settings, and other aspects of the user’s environment.

The App may also become partially or entirely unavailable or may not function properly due to operating system updates, specification changes, or other circumstances. We do not guarantee that the App will operate on all devices or in all environments.

Article 7 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users must not, in connection with their use of the App, engage in any conduct that violates laws or public order and morals, interferes with the operation of the App, involves unauthorized access, or otherwise causes disadvantage, loss, or damage to us or any third party.

Article 8 (Changes to or Discontinuation of the App)

We may, as necessary, modify the content of the App, add, modify, or discontinue features, or discontinue the App itself.

After the App is discontinued, users may still be able to use versions of the App already installed on their devices. However, we do not guarantee continued operation following operating system updates or other changes to the operating environment.

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

We make no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, security, continuity, or fitness for a particular purpose of the App.

Except where loss or damage is caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, we are not liable for any loss or damage incurred by users arising from the use of or inability to use the App.

Article 10 (Collection of User Information)

The App does not collect or obtain names, email addresses, telephone numbers, location information, device identifiers, or any other information that identifies users.

No user registration or login is required to use the App.

Article 11 (Collection of Usage Information)

The App does not use advertising services or analytics services for the purpose of collecting user information.

The App also does not transmit or store usage history or other user-related information on our servers.

Article 12 (Disclosure to Third Parties)

Because the App does not collect user information, we do not provide any user information obtained through the App to third parties.

Information handled by third-party platforms or services used in connection with the distribution or purchase of the App is subject to the privacy policies and other terms established by the respective service providers.

Article 13 (Changes to These Terms and Privacy Policy)

We may revise these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy as necessary due to changes in the App’s functionality, amendments to applicable laws and regulations, or other circumstances.

Any revised terms will be published on this page or otherwise made available by a method we deem appropriate.
