May 6-10

Wow.  Only 2 months left of school. This week is a full week.  Please make sure your child is dressed for any weather. Our school is participating in Bandit's Ultimate Book Challenge.  So far we have read 4 books and voted for the ones we liked.  We cannot wait to see what books we will be reading this week.

Wednesday, May 8 is Hats on for Mental Health.  The students are welcome to wear hats during school hours.  We will also be reading books that help children name and understand feelings and experiences. 

Many students have taken in treasures to look at under the microscope.  We then record our observations in our special books and choose words to describe them.  Please continue to send in any objects that you find along your walks.

Library Day is Thursdays.  Please return your book any time.

Names - printing and recognizing ( first and Last name)

Numbers to 10 Recognize, Printing and name the numeral

counting by 5's and 10's
