A database is an organized body of information from leading academic and popular journals and reference sources. The databases available through the RMHS library provide access to multimedia publications in print and online magazines, newspapers, scholarly journals, and a variety of other sources including primary. Databases cost money so you usually have to access them through your school or library account. With its larger budget, the Boston Public Library is able to provide access to many more resources than RMHS or the Reading Public Library provide. Consider obtaining a free Boston Public Library e-card so as to get access to their databases.
