Families will have access to 7 day meal bundles at 7 school sites throughout the district. Sites will be centered on PLUS sites: Cooper High School, Sandburg Middle School, Robbinsdale Middle School, Plymouth Middle School, Meadow Lake Elementary, Northport Elementary and Lakeview Elementary (see below for addresses and times). A family may choose the most convenient location for them; it does not have to be their student’s school.
Robbinsdale Nutrition Services will be able to serve anyone, 18 and under, 7-day meal bundles during Distance Learning PLUS. These meal bundles are offered Monday through Friday between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm. Menus and heating instructions are available at rdale.nutrislice.com.
Meals are FREE to anyone in the community, 18 and under.
Meals will be provided Mondays through Fridays at specific locations with and a variety of times to accommodate families. Meals will be offered curbside, and families will pull up and get out of their vehicle to pick up meal bundles.

MPS - All families are invited to pick up free school meal boxes for their children. School meal boxes contain seven breakfasts and seven lunches and meet Minneapolis Public Schools Culinary & Wellness Services’ (MPS CWS) high standards for nutrition and quality ingredients.
Youth, parents, or siblings can pick up one box per child, per week. This free food is for ALL children 18 and younger, no matter where the kids go to school.

Assessment changes due to COVID-19 virus--St. Stephen's Human Services family assessors will now be conducting assessments by phone. Energy Assistance Program (EAP)
Renters & homeowners are eligible.
Grants range from $200 to $1,400, based on household size, income, and energy usage and are paid directly to the energy supplier.
The average grant is about $500.
In addition to the initial grant, two other programs are available to EAP approved households:
- Crisis funds are available to help pay a past due bill or get an emergency fuel delivery.
- Energy Related Repairs provides emergency repair or replacement of heating systems.

Apply Now! Funds Available to Help Minnesotans with Past Due Housing Bills
Individuals and households in need of help paying past-due housing bills such as rent, mortgage and utility bills are encouraged to consider applying for the COVID-19 Housing Assistance Program.
Minnesota renters and homeowners with an income at or below 300% of federal poverty guidelines with eligible housing expenses incurred after March 1, 2020 are eligible to apply.
Local administrators review applications from individuals and families requesting assistance, verify eligibility, and process payments for eligible expenses on behalf of households.
Eligible housing expenses include:
Rent payments
Mortgage payments* (including escrowed property taxes and insurance in the case of foreclosure prevention)
Utility payments (i.e. electricity, water, sewer, natural gas, garbage)
Other housing-related bills (contract for deed payments, manufactured home park lot rents, manufactured home payments, homeowners association fees, homeowners insurance)
