As a certified financial coach, a trainer for More Than Enough coaches, and a licensed mortgage specialist, David has extensive expertise as a blogger, speaker, and father of five.
His involvement in the financial sector began in 2008 with the co-creation of the More Than Enough Financial Fitness coaching program, driven by a strong commitment to helping people overcome debt. The significant impact of this program, which helped 100 families repay over four million dollars in debt within four years, led to a partnership with the Canadian National Christian Foundation. During this partnership, he developed the Freedom Initiative, a national debt relief coaching program implemented by local churches.

John Heckbert is the Executive Director at Operation Come Home.
Their team at their Gloucester St. location provide wrap-around programming to support youth who experience homelessness, helping them achieve goals such as: completing high school, securing housing, finding employment, and accessing mental health and addictions supports. Operation Come Home also runs three social enterprises to provide youth with employment opportunities.
Throughout his career, he has worked exclusively within non-profit organizations and has been active with Ottawa-based social service organizations for the past 15 years. In that time, John has served as a staff member, a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels, a member of non-profit boards, and a public spokesperson for project step, an organization that works to prevent harm to youth from substance use.
John has degrees in Philosophy, Economics and Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Waterloo and U of T.
