My teacher has assigned me some work! I got an email detailing the assignment. Let's see what it says.
Here's the email. It explains that:
Who posted the assignment (Marcus Schaefer)
What class the assignment was posted in (Duffo Training Google Educators)
The title of the assignment "Making IT work better"
I can open Google Classroom to view more information about the assignment by clicking the blue "OPEN" button.
Now I see the details for the assignment.
The paper is Due Mar 16, 11:59PM
It is worth 100 points
I need to Write a 20 page paper with single space as to how (I) could make IT better.
A Google Doc has been created for me (top right of image) to work in for this assignment. Let's click on it to get to work!
Google Docs opens up to the "Derek Austill - Making IT better" document that my teacher created for me.
I have a blank slate to work in, and it is automatically shared with my teacher at this point. If I need help, or if my teacher wants to give comments to my document, they can do so through Google Classroom.
Let's check those out:

Whew! I'm done. I'm ready to turn in my assignment. Let's see about how to go about turning in my work.
1. Click "TURN IN"
2. Click "Turn in" to confirm.
My Assignment is shown as Turned In!
My teacher is emailed the final document.
At this point, I am unable to edit the document unless I choose "Unsubmit" on this page.
I cannot make changes to my turned in assignment after the due date, unless approved by the teacher.
