Naperville, IL – September 22, 2025 – Roxana Senior High School (RHS) has been officially recognized as an Illinois Democracy School at the Annual Convening held yesterday at the NIU Conference Center in Naperville. This prestigious designation is awarded to schools that demonstrate a deep and ongoing commitment to civic learning, student voice, and democratic engagement.
The Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) is a statewide transfer agreement, which is transferable among more than 100 participating colleges and universities in Illinois. IAI works best for students who know they are going to transfer but are undecided on the college or university that will grant their baccalaureate degree.
Roxana High School participates in the Lewis & Clark Community College High School Partnership offering Dual Credit opportunities for students. RHS students can earn both high school and college credits.
Introductory presentation for our new Student Ambassadors regarding roles and responsibilities. Student Ambassadors are at the true essence of a school's positive culture and climate. This presentation will provide our new school leaders with a clear understanding of this school position, provide the man opportunity to sign up in our Remind 101 group and prepare for upcoming opportunities to serve in this capacity.
Meeting held on August 7th at 6 PM in the auditorium. The purpose was to welcome and introduce parents of incoming 9th graders and new students to RHS, review back to school logistics, and share academic and social supports available to students.

Preview Night Parent Meeting
The purpose of the Freshmen Preview Night is to welcome and introduce parents of incoming freshmen to Roxana Senior High School, discuss the scheduling process, and outline academic and social supports that are available for the upcoming school year.
