Mr. Ryan Kisner

Mr. Ryan Kisner brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Director of Bands at East Rutherford High School, a position he has held since 2023. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Mars Hill University in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and a concentration in instrumental studies, Mr. Kisner's journey in music education has been marked by excellence.

His career commenced in Rutherford County at RS Middle School, where he honed his skills before taking on roles at Draughn High School and Chase Middle School. Throughout his tenure, bands under Mr. Kisner's guidance have consistently achieved first-place honors and superior ratings at both Marching and Concert Band events.

Notably, his students have excelled under his tutelage, consistently auditioning and earning spots in County, District, and State-level Honor bands. Mr. Kisner's dedication and passion for music education have had a profound impact on the musical achievements of his students and the broader community.
